All-New Episodes of Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Metalocalypse, Squidbillies, Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law and Frisky Dingo Lead Sunday Night Comedies
A week for the record books: Fueled by the strip of Seth Green’s acclaimed stop-motion series, Robot Chicken (Monday-Thursday at 12 a.m.; new season episodes, Sunday at 11:30 p.m.), Adult Swim posted its highest weekly total day delivery ever among adults 18-24, men 18-34 and men 18-24, according to preliminary data from Nielsen Media Research. The late-night network also scored its highest weekly total day delivery of adults 18-34 year to date. Overall for the week vs. ad-supported basic cable networks, Adult Swim ranked #1 across the board among target young adults including adults 18-34, 18-24 and men 18-34, 18-24 (82 weeks running). All demos earned significant double-digit growth vs. the same 2005 time period.
Adult Swim also ranked #2 among basic cable for total day delivery of adults 18-49. Delivery and ratings support came from all new episodes from several key Adult Swim Sunday night original series, including Aqua Teen Hunger Force (10:30 p.m.), Metalocalypse (11:45 p.m.), Squidbillies (12 a.m.), Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law (12:15 a.m.) and Frisky Dingo (12:30 a.m.). Adult Swim programs accounted for 18 of the Top 50 programs for the week on ad-supported basic cable among adults 18-34, and an overwhelming 29 of the Top 50 programs for men 18-34—more than any other network.
